SciTec is seeking a Project Manager for an agile software development program executed from our Boulder, CO, office. The PM is responsible for leading and managing the scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk, and performance for each assigned project.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team to successful completion of project goals and objectives

• Represent SciTec and project team via interface with military and civilian customers/leaders and with partner contractors

• Plan and manage project financials to include budget and work authorization requests, estimate at complete reviews, and variance reporting

• Conduct project and participate in portfolio resource management

• Conduct risk management at each project stage, report status and mitigation plans to leadership

• Provide timely and accurate insight into key program impacts or opportunities to the Portfolio Director

• Identify and implement corrective actions thorough collaboration and effective communication

• Support process improvement activities within project and portfolio

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline with 6 years of professional experience

• 4+ years defense industry experience as a project manager or deputy project manager in software development

• 4+ years financial management experience

• Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Final SECRET clearance or higher

• Experience with Agile software development methodology

• Excellent written communication, briefing, and presentation skills

• Detail oriented

• Good verbal and written communication skills

Candidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred

• Experience as Scrum Master

• Certifications in Project Management or Agile

• Previous proposal, Basis of Estimate (BOE), and/or negotiations experience

• Subcontractor management

• Active DoD Final SECRET clearance or higher

The pay range for this position is $128,000 - $172,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
