OVERVIEW Automox is seeking a product marketing manager that is an expert in product positioning and messaging. This highly visible and impactful position requires a solid understanding of endpoint management tools and the tech behind them in order to translate features into benefits and value. In this role, you will work with customers, sales, product management, marketing, and other stakeholders to develop compelling messaging that clearly articulates market needs and the unique value that Automox delivers to IT teams.
OUR TEAM Our product marketing team sets product positioning and messaging, manages product launches, and enables the business to grow faster and more efficiently. We're responsible for maximizing our products' potential, in order to delight our users and grow Automox. We partner with teams across the company, including Product, Sales, and Engineering.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Messaging & Positioning: Craft insights-backed product positioning and messaging that serves as the keystone for internal and external launch assets, marketing programs, web copy, events and more. Launch: Bring products to market that prove our unique value by partnering with cross-functional teams to expand customer reach and awareness. Develop and execute on full-funnel product launch strategies and tactical plans, collaborating closely with product, content, demand, and enablement on content and campaign development. Continuously bring launch learnings back to the product team to inform product development and future launch strategies. Content Creation: Work with content marketing and digital to guide strategy on new collateral, thought leadership assets and solution presentations, website content, videos, blogs, by-lined articles and more to execute communication strategies and accelerate the buyer's journey. Market and Competitive intelligence: Be the go-to expert in our products, customers, competitors, and market in the endpoint management space. This includes the nitty gritty technical details that set Automox apart. Enablement: Create customer and sales enablement materials, partnering with content, CX, and enablement teams to ensure content is produced and delivered in a tailored way for customers. SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES Outstanding grasp on crafting bold, simple, and relatable product messaging to technical teams. Solid understanding of endpoint management products and solutions, and the technical details that drive them. At least 3 years of product marketing (or equivalent) experience at growth-stage B2B SaaS startups selling to IT and/or security teams. A collaborative and team-oriented attitude that allows you to work effectively with customer success, sales/marketing, and other product and engineering team members globally. Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills. Efficient, highly productive multitasker; ability to navigate ambiguity and eager to learn. Intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability, and positive approach. Strong project management skills; results-focused with impactful execution and follow-through; highly detail-oriented. Both technically deep and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization. The salary range listed is the base pay range for this position. In addition, the total compensation package includes bonus, equity and benefits. Actual earnings may be less or more depending on a candidate's direct experience, skills, industry knowledge, and location.
