Zayo Group Senior Program Manager - Government Stimulus & Product Strat in Boulder, Colorado

A Senior Program Manager (Government Stimulus and Product Strategy) with our organization will lead complex, multi-functional programs across Zayo, and will act as a coordinator to ensure related projects across the organization benefit each other and align with overall business goals.

This position performs the following professional duties: 1. Develop programs to support the organization's product strategy initiatives, as well as creating and managing long term goals. 2. Identify/monitor potential opportunities, build business networks/relationships, gather relevant information through cross-functional engagement, oversee application processes, mitigate project challenges/risks, process management and reporting. 3. Create and lead a consistent and repeatable Program Management center of excellence for various federal and state broad stimulus programs. 4. Provide deal management support in mergers & acquisitions identification, execution, integration and operational efficiency. 5. Create budgets, models, discussion materials / operating plans. 6. Manage dependencies between projects and facilitate collaboration to resolve issues 7. Government Affairs and Funding Programs o Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization. o Organize strategic programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the product organization. o Formulate organizational gameplan for government funding/grants, manage dedicated program management team, leverage external consultants/advisors to develop road map, processes and reporting structures o Build, train and manage a government funding team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities. o Develop a program budget, operating plan and an evaluation method to assess strengths and identify areas for improvement. o Create financial models and write program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services. o Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance. o Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved. o Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services. o Develop relationships with potential partners such as local service providers, state broadband offices, local agencies, government bodies, industry associations, etc. o Create compliance and other reporting structures and ensure adherence to the program requirements. o Analyze program risks and produce accurate and timely status reports throughout the program life cycle. 8. Product Portfolio Strategy and Program Management o Define product strategy plan, align leadership on annual targets/roadmap, develop key initiatives, update growth model and implement product strategy change management. o Lead and oversee internal development and cross-functional technical teams to deliver ensuring quality control, meeting time deadlines and budget parameters. o Execute product strategy and technology program initiatives to automate workflow and increase velocity in telecommunications product and project management tasks. o Act as a drum beat for strategic operations, leveraging data, analytics and reporting, ensures product organization is intentionally and intelligently positioned strategically to capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities. o Guardian of Product portfolio management and Product Catalog Master. o Lead portfolio-level strategic planning and tracking, deploy organization-wide program/project management tools, standards, and metrics, agile development process and tooling optimization, cross-functional operating teams, cadence, integration, and best practices. o Present results to program stakeholders and sponsors to facilitate decision making. o Responsive product portfolio management connects objectives, customer needs, products, and resources w th execution to accelerate outcomes.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in business administration, or a closely related field, or foreign equivalent degree

Min Experience: Two years' experience in job offered or two years' experience in professional business operations or program/project management

Telecommuter Benefit. Ability to work from Boulder, Colorado, or other anticipated and unanticipated locations in USA

Salary: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00
