Wood County Hospital Registered Nurse/RN-Obstetrics Per Diem in Bowling Green, Ohio
Wood County Hospital is now accepting applications for a RN in our Obstetrics department. The OB RN provides personal care and professional excellence with the systematic use of the nursing process in providing/directing the care of the neonate and OB/GYN patients.
Job Duties:
Demonstrates the ability to perform immediate assessment on admission of labor and neonate patients and initial assessments of other patients.
Performs initial assessment of patients with consideration of their biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, education and discharge needs.
Demonstrates the ability to circulate and recover patients undergoing C-Sections.
Demonstrates accountability for administering, observing, charting and recording accurately the use of medications/controlled drugs and IV procedures.
Shift Details:
Hours: Per Diem
Shift: Days, Nights
Weekend rotation required.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school or otherwise recognized nursing program.
Minimum Certification:
Licensed RN in the state of Ohio
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required within 90 days of hire.
Minimum Experience:
- 1 year of Acute Care or Labor and Delivery experience required.
