Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Boyceville, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be part of an energetic team, working on accounting software systems including ADP, Concur, and Great Plains. Your main responsibility will be to maintain financial records, process transactions, and play a pivotal role in our accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
• Process hourly payroll and maintain accurate records
• Handle weekly accounts payable to optimize cash flow
• Post cash receipts to the accounts receivable ledger
• Assist in preparing month-end accounts payable accruals and other journal entries as required
• Participate in inventory counts for raw materials and finished goods when necessary
• Order main office supplies and distribute mail as needed
• Process credit and debit memos and complete credit hold analysis
• Administer commissions and maintain rebate accruals
• Maintain union employees schedules and set up capital expenditure projects in ERP

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with Concur software
• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Billing Functions
• Proficiency in Check Processing
