Plumber--$23/Hour--4 Day Work Week--Day One Benefits

Job Description

As a Plumbing Assembly professional, you will be assembling plumbing to specialty fire trucks. Your responsibilities include installing heat exchanges, master drains, primer controls, manual pump shifts, discharge systems, bleeder drains, and connecting lines to gauge panels. Additionally, you will be required to self-check your work to ensure quality and meet production goals.

• Monday thru Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Qualifications

• Preferred high school diploma or GED

• Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, and screw guns

• Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions

• Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Cutting and threading pipes using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe threading machine

• Bend pipes to the required angle by using a pipe bending machine or by bending by hand

• Join pipes by using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulk joints

• Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes

• Fill pipe systems with water or air and read pressure gauges to check for system leaks
