Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Technician with expertise in both electrical and mechanical disciplines to join our materials recycling pre-processing plant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
What you'll be contributing: * Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines. * Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyors, motors, pumps, crushers, and other plant equipment. * Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including wiring, control panels and PLC systems. * Perform mechanical repairs, including bearing replacements, belt adjustments, and hydraulic system maintenance. * Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems. * Implement upgrades and modifications to improve plant efficiency and reliability. * Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards. * Participate in safety training and contribute to the continuous improvement of plant safety practices. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and parts inventory. * Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the site manager promptly. * Work closely with others to ensure smooth and efficient operations. * Provide technical support and training to personnel as needed. * Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
