Duties and Responsibilities: <br> Drive safely along designated routes<br> Obey traffic laws, safety procedures, and transit regulations<br> Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations<br> Follow a specific timetable while on duty<br> Assist passengers with disabilities to board the bus<br> Prevent or manage unruly behavior from passengers<br> Communicate with passengers and employers about delays or issues along the route<br> Check bus tires, lights, and oil as needed and report to the regular bus driver<br> <br> Substitute School Bus Driver:<br> Operate school buses or District vehicles to transport children to and from school and related<br> activities when the regular driver is unavailable<br> Ensure the safety, timely transport, and economical operation of the vehicle<br> Clean the bus and inspect it to ensure safe operation<br> Safety and welfare of students are the top priorities<br> <br> Bus Drivers - $18.80 per/hour out of district<br> Bus Drivers - $17.98 per hour in district <br>
