Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Brea, California
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in the plastics manufacturing industry, located in Brea, California. The role is on-site and will require the successful candidate to be responsible for a range of HR duties, including compliance, benefits administration, and hiring processes. This role will report directly to the CFO and will be a key part of our team.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage all general HR functions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Administer employee benefits, including 401K, insurance, and worker's compensation
• Maintain a strong understanding of labor laws and implement them into company policies
• Facilitate effective hiring processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding
• Manage employee relations, acting as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues
• Utilize ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for HR functions
• Ensure effective communication within the team and across the organization
• Maintain accurate employee records and process customer credit applications efficiently
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Execute other related duties as assigned. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources management position, ideally within the plastics manufacturing industry
• Proficiency with ADP Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Strong understanding and experience with benefit functions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge and experience in ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Proven track record in managing employee relations effectively
• Demonstrable experience with hiring processes, from recruitment to onboarding.
