Danaher Corporation Marketing Data Analyst (Hybrid) in Brea, California

The Marketing Data Analyst role for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for data collection, analysis, interpretation, and creation of visualizations to support the marketing team to influence decisions in content creation and channel strategy, driving growth and campaign optimization. This role will play a critical role in optimizing our digital marketing efforts across various channels, with a primary focus on paid media analytics, attribution, app measurement, testing, and optimization strategies.

You will be a part of the Global Marketing Operation team and report to the Director, Global Marketing Operations, DBS, and Strategic Projects responsible for driving Marketing Excellence and continuous improvement. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Data Analysis: Utilize, develop, and maintain analytical tools to extract, transform, and analyze digital data. Interpret complex datasets to identify key trends and insights. Provide regular reports on performance metrics, including website traffic, user engagement, and conversion rates.

  • Campaign Assessment: Evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Collaborate with marketing teams to assess the impact of campaigns on brand visibility, customer acquisition, and engagement. Recommend adjustments to optimize campaign performance based on data analysis.

  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyze digital strategies employed by competitors. Identify market trends and opportunities to maintain a competitive edge. Present findings to stakeholders and make strategic recommendations.

  • Drive data integration and alignment: Ensure all related metrics are integrated and aligned across scorecards and dashboards to drive connection with systems. Develop and learn new technologies and techniques to apply data and AI to business facing problems.

  • Benchmarking and content effectiveness: Create benchmarking analyses to compare metrics and understand ROI from customer engagement. Use findings to make informed decisions on content effectiveness.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Data Analysis preferred with 5+ years’ relevant experience or Graduate-level degree in business administration (MBA) with 3+ years’ relevant experience.

  • Proficient in utilizing databases, data analysis tools, and reporting tools to automate reporting processes.

  • Skilled in creating and automating dashboards, standard reports, scorecards, ad-hoc reports, and data visualization for generating key business insights.

  • Experience in leveraging marketing data from various sources, including websites, SEO, and social media platforms, to visualize and analyze performance using tools such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, SEMRUSH, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.

  • Strong critical thinking skills with an analytical mindset and excellent oral and written English language presentation and communication skills.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in FDA-regulated industries.

  • Proficiency in sales/marketing enablement platforms such as Marketing automation platforms, Power PI, Marketo, Workfront, Seismic, and Salesforce.com and familiarity with AI applications.

  • Agency experience is preferred.

The salary range for this role is $105,000–$115,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.
