Responsibilities

Food Service Associates are responsible to create a pleasant, quality meal experience for patients.

  • Prepare and deliver meal trays to patients according to diet orders.

  • Handles and prepares food in accordance with food safety regulations.

  • Communicate with nursing and the cooks to provide accurate & quality meal service to patients & residents.

  • Limited food preparation for cafĂ© and patients, including therapeutic diets.

  • Answer department phone calls and respond to requests.

  • Operate the cash register and dish machine.

  • Assist with putting away freight & stocking of food in kitchenettes.

  • Maintains cleanliness & sanitary standards.

  • Participates in department communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred

Pay Range

$14.82 - $20.38 /hour
