Overview:  A local drainage and waterproofing company specializing in providing high-quality waterproofing, drainage, and excavation services to both commercial and residential properties is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join their growing team. The Excavator operator will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to perform excavation, trenching, and digging tasks as part of drainage and stormwater management projects. The role will require proficiency in the safe and efficient use of an excavator, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Operate excavator for digging, trenching, and grading tasks related to drainage systems and waterproofing projects
• Assist in the excavation of trenches for utility installation, stormwater management systems, and other site preparation tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring that all equipment is stored safely and securely
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures, maintaining a safe work environment at all times
• Ensure quality control in excavation work, ensuring proper depth, alignment, and grade as per project requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavators, preferably with experience in drainage and stormwater management
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for operating heavy machinery
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay: $30-$40/hour depending on experience

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM
