Description
Our client is seeking a Sr. Accountant - Analyst ONSITE in Brentwood, Tennessee, for a contract role. This role will be focused on managing and analyzing accounting data, with a particular focus on reconciling multiple ERP systems and improving processes.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct a comprehensive analysis of data from various ERP systems, identifying discrepancies and ensuring alignment with the main D365 system
• Handle the upload of Excel templates as journal entries to D365, thereby maintaining the P& L and balance sheet activity on a monthly basis
• Work on data cleanup for entities not currently integrated into the D365 system
• Ensure the alignment of local ERP ledgers with the D365 system
• Utilize Microsoft Power Platform tools, such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, to automate and enhance processes
• Contribute to process improvement efforts, including the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Collaborate with teams not on the D365 system to understand their adjustment inputs and assess alignment with company GAAP standards
• Maintain a thorough understanding of debits and credits, and basic accounting principles to accurately interpret subsidiary files.
• Execute account reconciliation tasks, including balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger maintenance.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential.
• Solid understanding of General Ledger management.
• Ability to handle and maintain Journal Entries.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
• Experience in Month End Close procedures.
• Knowledge of D365 is a significant advantage.
• Great skills with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI are required.
• Demonstrated ability in Process Improvement.
• Experience in creating and maintaining Process Documentation.
