Job Description
Perform inspections and scheduled heavy maintenance and modifications in a PART 145 / MRO facility in a fast-paced, project-based environment. Aircrafts worked on are CRJs (regional jets).

Work Environment
Specifically, this position supports MHI RJ Service Center at the West Virginia Air Center due to growing business demands, additional lines of maintenance, and inspection work. Working in a heavy MRO environment supporting heavy C/D checks on CRJ aircraft for Regional Airlines. This is an extremely fast-paced environment where candidates will be provided 'work orders' and have specific timeframes to complete tasks. Very time-sensitive work, so the individual needs to be able to work under time constraints and independently. Typical turnaround for aircraft overhaul is 7-10 days.
Hours: Work a 'southern swing shift' as follows; 4 days on (12-hour days) & 3 days off THEN NEXT WEEK 3 days on (12 hours) & 4 days off. The facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the shifts are 7a-7p & 7p-7a.
DRESS CODE: Casual (T-shirts and shorts/jeans) with Steel Toed Shoes. Standard PPE required at all times while on the shop floor includes SAFETY Glasses/Goggles. Dependent upon tasks being performed, additional PPE could be required (fall protection, hearing protection, Tyvek suit, etc.). Client provides fall protection training. Safety is paramount at this facility. All required safety training is provided during the initial week-long orientation class.
