Our benefits include: Competitive Pay Rates ​​​​​​ Medical, dental, vision and prescription plans with wellness incentives Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account (on applicable plans) ​​​​​​ 401k Plan – with a match Company-funded Long Term and Short-Term Disability Company funded Life Insurance Policy Paid Vacation and Personal Days* Job Description – Batching Technician Location: Bridgeton, NJ Shift: 2:00am-11:00am Reports to: Production Supervisor Job Summary: Oversees batch-mixing process of blending raw ingredients to produce plant-based milk products. ​​​​​​ Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate and understand the blending when processing a batch Accurately document information on blending paperwork Perform analytical tests Operate forklift when needed following all safety protocols and GMP Responsible for disposition of unused raw ingredients, including proper labeling for storage Effectively maintain product storage and rotation Responsible for complex cleaning activities in manufacturing including sanitation in-line and off-line processes ​​​​​​ Clean various items throughout the facility including but not limited to weighing containers, scoops, totes, floors and mixing equipment Attend and participate in daily shift meetings Uphold visual management of the work area Follows and supports continuous improvement methodologies Strict adherence to all safety, health, and environmental policies Strict adherence to all GMP and food safety policies Perform necessary preventive maintenance on equipment as needed Report all equipment malfunctions and abnormalities for follow-up and repairs Create and follow-up on work orders for area as needed Completes all required training on time Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to weights, measures and record keeping Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions Ability to read, speak, and write in English Required to regularly lift up to 50lbs Flexibility to work overtime and additional shifts based on business needs ​​​​​​ Desired Qualities: Collaborator - able to work with other members of the processing team Adaptive - adjusts to changing priorities and conditions Motivated - self-starter with the ability to work in a team and independently to achieve team objectives ​​​​​​ Safety conscious - abide by all safety measures put in place at Innovation Foods Customer focused - understands the need for the highest standard of food quality in production Innovation Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Underrepresented Ethnic Minority Groups/Women/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity and other protected classes.
