Job Title: Mechanic
Job Description
Safely repair and maintain machinery in the plant, including preventative maintenance, machinery repair, projects, and production support. When not working on specific repairs or preventative maintenance, the mechanic should work to improve production results in the best available way.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
Repair and maintain machinery, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Support production through various maintenance tasks.
Work on improving production results when not engaged in specific repairs or preventative maintenance.
Essential Skills
Mechanical repair
Preventive maintenance
Industrial maintenance experience
Troubleshooting and repairing equipment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical and electrical experience preferred
Experience in GMP or food manufacturing environments
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, piping, and valves
Bearing removal and installation
Experience with pumps, motors, couplings, and shaft alignment
Tig and arc welding
Experience with depalletizers, rinsers, fillers, cappers, labelers, casepackers, palletizers, boxformers, casesealers, glue pots, conveyors, and pressing equipment and systems
Work Environment
Shifts are Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work becoming regular. The first shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.86 - $30.00
