Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Cumberland Dairy has immediate job openings for adaptable Packaging Assistants to perform all-purpose duties, which may include box moving, stacking, and bag dropping, manual palletizing of finished product, and filling machines with cardboard. Packaging Assistants will be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate effectively with all departments to achieve maximum output of finished product during shift while maintaining the highest level of quality standards.

OUR PACKAGING ASSISTANTS START AT AN HOURLY RATE OF:
- $17 per hour
SCHEDULE: 2-2-3 Rotating Turn Schedule
Day Shift Schedule: 6am-6:30pm

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED required
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and assist others when lifting is required, with capabilities to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to talk, hear, and smell
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
