cyberThink Inc DevOps Engineer in Bridgewater, New Jersey
Evaluate, install, implement, upgrade, administer, troubleshoot and configure infrastructure of various computer hardware, networking software, windows server and operating system software in Linux based applications (Samba, Apache, FTP, DNS, iptables). Plan, deploy, monitor and maintain Amazon AWS cloud infrastructure consisting of multiple EC2 nodes and analyze CloudWatch metrics on compute, storage, and network resources to ensure cost-efficient usage. Create security groups, network ACLs, Internet Gateways, NAT instances and Route tables to ensure a secure zone in AWS. Deploy, manage, improve, and maintain systems and services on both traditional servers and cloud-oriented infrastructure services (AWS). Maintain configuration file for each application to install and build system following infrastructure-as-code principle using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Nexus, Git. Perform data backups, web-server backup, recovery operations, data center walkthrough, system health check and event notification. Provide security and manage access and quota using AWS Identity, Access Management (IAM) and create new policy for user/role. Automate process and script related to deployment and configuration of our server/application via script and chef, utilizing cloud provider as a direct substrate for implementation. Test with router and switch, script language like Bash and other network devices such as load balancer (ELB), EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, EBS, VPC and firewall security. Verify certificate management and renewal and upload to AWS IAM, AWS certs manager. Create Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) build chain. Design and maintain GIT Repositories, views, and the access control strategies. Setup and maintain automated environment within AWS environment.
