Job Summary

Oversee the development and implementation of continuous improvements to support the monthly Americas Investment Committee, as well as ensuring a structured presentation of the meetings and highest quality of the respective presentations. Oversee the capital expenditures (CapEx) planning, budgeting/controlling for the region to ensure highest reporting and controlling quality of Minor and Major CapEx, including cashflow impact.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the proper updating of the region’s midterm planning financial model and other investor relations requirements.

  • Monitor the region’s overall budget, forecast, and monthly results reported to the Board.

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in the budgeting and forecasting processes by managing the region’s planning and reporting schedule, ensuring plans are in place to meet deadlines and proactively developing process improvements regarding business partnering and usage of planning systems and tools.

  • Oversee the consolidation and review of Board presentations, including finance and non-finance related topics.

  • Serve as the primary liaison to the Investment Planning & Controlling Director, and other senior management, by ensuring the proper ad hoc analysis, financial evaluations, and strategies are provided.

  • Ensure the proper recording of investments in SAP (IO tracking) and monthly close reporting of CapEx.

  • Oversee the daily responsibilities of the controlling analysts and the continuous development of team members, including training, transfer of knowledge, and continuously assessing the team.

    Required Skills:

  • Experience with team management. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

  • Experience with SAP.

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, including advanced Excel skills such as charting and data visualization, standard finance formulas, lookup formulas (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and INDEX MATCH), Pivot Tables, What-If Analysis, and spreadsheet formatting.

  • Advanced financials and analytical skills including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and accounting and cash flow management.

    Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field

  • 7 (seven) years of experience in corporate finance or financial planning and analysis.
