Atlantic Health System Patient Care Technician I, AMG Hematology Oncology Bridgewater in Bridgewater, New Jersey
Accountabilities:
Perform clinical and administrative tasks
Manage incoming and outgoing calls, register patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance coverage, complete all necessary forms accurately.
Assist Certified Medical Assistants in the clinic to room patients, take vital signs, perform medication reconciliation, and prepare and maintain exam rooms.
Process referrals, medical records releases and additional duties as required.
Required:
High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred:
Prior clinical experience strongly preferred
Computer literacy essential
Working knowledge of computerized scheduling and EMR system desired
Strong customer service skills a must
PCT training
