System One Research Associate / Senior Research Associate in Bridgewater, New Jersey
Job Title: Senior Research Associate
Location: Greater Bridgewater, NJ area
Hours /Schedule: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Type: Temp to hire
We are seeking a Senior Research Associate with at least 2 years of experience performing in-vitro assays to contribute to research with a leading pharmaceutical company focused on neutrophil-mediated diseases.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on therapeutics for neutrophil-mediated diseases.
Assist in cell culture, stem cell expansion, differentiation, and compound screening.
Perform enzymatic assays, ex vivo sample processing, flow cytometry, western blot, and ELISA.
Utilize plate readers, fluorescence microscopy, and flow cytometry for research.
Analyze data using Excel, XLfit, FlowJo, and GraphPad Prism.
Maintain detailed experimental records and write/review technical reports.
Present findings at internal meetings and ensure proper supply of reagents.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience with in-vitro assays and compound/enzyme screening in pharmaceuticals.
Proficient in flow cytometry, ELISA, western blot, and molecular biology techniques.
Skilled in data analysis using Excel, FlowJo, and GraphPad Prism.
Experience with primary cells (neutrophils, stem cells, immune cells) and molecular biology assays.
Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
