About the roleA Data Cloud Solution Consultant for our CX Practice is a strategic position to our customers, spanning between pre-sales and delivery, with a focus on the value realization of Salesforce Data Cloud. This role provides technical strategy and vision during pre-sales efforts and then carries through to the first stages of the delivery engagement. While a strong Solution Consultant has the ability to be hands on in the Salesforce platforms, the majority of time will be in architectural discussions, implementation planning, strategic roadmap conversations, and discovery and design.
Essential functions:- Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to assist customer decision making as it relates to Data Cloud. Run Q&A sessions, provide a strong POV on feature usage and benefit, guide the initial use case or architectural discussions, and similar support.
- Guide product selection and/or technology stack roadmaps for Salesforce solutions and provide similar input for non-Salesforce solutions.
- Post sale, partner with delivery team to participate in first 1-3 months of the engagement. Ensure all knowledge is transferred from sales to delivery, and provide a consistent presence to the client during the transition period
- Participate in architecture, data model, and integration design conversations centered around Salesforce Data Cloud with an understanding of the current and future technology stack.
- Ensure that the planned solution delivers business value in a meaningful and measurable way. With business oriented end users, the user experience within Data Cloud or through Data Cloud driven interfaces is critical.
- 8+ years architecting for customer experience
- 2+ years experience partially or fully in a sales or pre-sales role.
- Salesforce certification for Data Cloud Consultant, with certifications for Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM highly recommended.
- Knowledge of key digital marketing capabilities - customer identity/context, data management, marketing analytics, marketing automation and orchestration, decision engines/offer engines/personalization, multi-channel activation, customer engagement.
- Knowledge of use cases, trends, and insights of at least one of the following: sales, service, or commerce
- Experience working with AI solutions, either within or outside the Salesforce ecosystem. A healthy interest and curiosity in AI is a must.
- Experience with auditing and assessing the maturity of a customer's CX technology stack and ability to provide improvement recommendations.
- Experience with designing marketing or CX technology stack transformation roadmaps for scale.
- Experience with complex data structures, data modeling and databases (typical marketing, sales, service data and data structures). Ability to provide best practice guidance on data management and integrations (Zero Copy, APIs, file-drops, etc.).
- Experience leading discoveries, gathering technical requirements, and executing a solution based on system best practices, platform limitations, and client ability to maintain.

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
