Robert Half Tax Supervisor in Bridgewater, New Jersey
Description
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the preparation of tax returns for individuals, trusts, and entities.
• Deliver tax planning and advisory services to clients, ensuring all activities are in line with tax laws and regulations.
• Carry out research on various tax issues and uncover opportunities for tax savings for clients.
• Participate in planning and implementing tax strategies for estates and trusts.
• Review and interpret trust documents to ascertain tax implications.
• Partner with clients and other professionals to gather necessary information for tax return preparation.
• Manage client relationships and provide exceptional client service.
• Use accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH Sales Tax to perform accounting functions and annual income tax provision.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to auditing processes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in tax accounting, and closing client books.
