Marine Mammal Stranding Center Gift Shop Cashier in Brigantine, New Jersey
The Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine, NJ, is a private non-profit organization located in Brigantine, New Jersey. The Stranding Center's main goal is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release stranded marine mammals and sea turtles.
The Marine Mammal Stranding Center is seeking a GIFT SHOP CASHIER. Working Saturdays and Sundays, the Gift Shop Cashier will:
- Process sales transactions using a cash register and the Square point-of-sale platform
- Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts at the end of the day
- Assist in stocking and rotating merchandise as needed
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
This position does not work directly with animals. A HS Diploma or GED is required. Retail experience, basic computer skills, and familiarity with point-of-sale systems is preferred.
All candidates must pass a drug screen and background check.
