The Role
Working in a high-performance team within one of our flagship Global Finance clients, this role is a true end to end facilities management role with focus on technical support. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager in Sydney and working within a collaborative and supportive team.
For the successful candidate, this collaborative and integral position will be a career-defining role to support the foundations for the client’s ongoing success in 2024.
A snapshot of a typical day:
Partner closely and work with building engineers to ensure best service delivery on your sites.
Liaise with other facilities Managers to ensure a consistent approach across ANZ regional sites.
Manage WHS and inspections across regional sites, including concerns and incident management.
Manage the technical side, including air conditioning, electricity and daily workspace operational details.
Financial responsibility of Profit and Loss and budgets.
Take lead to improve contractor/sub-contractor relations and performance.
Involvement in risk management compliance and sustainability.
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and liaise effectively with client and attend tenant enquiries, complaints or requirements.
Provide strong communication on all facilities management matters through formal meetings, emails or letters.
Some travel needed across regional sites.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years’ experience in building management role, particularly focus on sophisticated and state of the art systems in commercial and industrial properties.
Excellent relationship management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of building services operations.
