Engineering Services designs, builds, and sustains technology that powers DE&E Technology’s worldwide content production and distribution platforms. Job Summary:

The Event Content Automation team develops and maintains content automation systems that enhance broadcasts for a wide range of sporting events. Be an eager and talented engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

As a Software Engineer II you will be part of a diverse and talented organization focused on building and maintaining complex applications and support our suite of applications. You will be a member of a team building the products working with modern server-side and technologies such as JavaScript, Node, and React to deliver scalable and elegant solutions for new product features and core site architecture. You are highly proficient in C#, SQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS and appreciate the details that make a user experience exceptional. You demonstrate enthusiasm for new technologies, languages, frameworks, and platforms.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong understanding of OO software design

  • Proven ability to design, develop, and manage MySQL databases

  • Solid understanding of C# and/or VB coding languages

  • Experience writing code that consumes RESTful services with JSON data.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with technology, engineering, operations, production & creative services departments

  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Demonstrate ability to research and learn new technologies

  • Driven and self-motivated

  • Ability to travel globally anytime including nights, weekends and holidays

  • Willingness to support our products 24/7/365.

  • Passion for sports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and understanding with scripting functions and logic (VizRT scripting, VB, Action Script)

  • Knowledge of Visual Studio technologies including C#, VB.Net, WPF a plus.

  • Experience with web and cloud-based technologies

  • Knowledge of the MVVM architectural pattern

  • Experience with VIZRT

  • Experience with ROSS Expression

Required Education:

  • Strong sports knowledge and the rules surrounding various sports is preferred

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, and/or equivalent work experience.
