Responsible for packing, labeling, processing, communication with customers and internal resources, shipping, and coordination of logistics of products from Metaphase Technologies. Packing, storage, and retrieval of finished good inventory. Additional resources for other warehouse functions such as receiving, pulling, and storing parts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ? Packaging of products for shipments to customers and outgoing materials as required. o Pack to ensure safe and damage-free shipment of products and materials. o Ensure accurate assignment of product serial numbers to customer shipments. o Communication with production and QA on expected product movement to shipping. ? Prepare all documents related to shipping customer orders. o Accurate and timely communications with customer service, internal resources and external customers is required. o Accurate and timely processing within Epicor ERP system and customer commitments o Logistic process for domestic and international shipments ? Process Epicor "End-of-Day" -- everyday ? Manages shipping and packaging supplies. o Label, organize and maintain all cartons and supplies required for shipping a multitude of Metaphase products. ? Ensures finished good inventory counts and serial numbers accuracy and current. o Maintain clean and organized finish good area. o Proper assignment, identification, and release dates of customer blanket order product from finished goods storage. ? Workspace cleanliness and organization ? Backup and additional resource for receiving material handling and inventory support. ? Forklift daily inspection and record keeping ? Pallet disposal ? Identify orders or products that will require special handling (crates/pallets/etc.) and order accordingly. ? Forklift operations as needed. ? Pickup and drop off items to suppliers or freight hubs as needed and instructed. ? Other relevant duties as assignment by management Secondary Responsibilities: ? Any responsibilities not covered as assigned by supervisor including administrative duties, building maintenance, etc. ? Follow company safety policies and procedures. ? Maintain department equipment, report issues in a timely manner to management. Qualifications: ? High school diploma, GED, or equivalent ? Basic computer skills including basic navigation of Excel spread sheets, Outlook email, Word, File maintenance, Epicor software as well shipping software including but not limited to UPS World Ship and FedEx Ship Manager ? Organizational and time management skills with recognition of workflow and changing priorities. ? Basic understanding of international and domestic shipping standards. ? Excellent communication and flexibility. ? Attendance and punctuality are a must. ? Must be eager to learn and willing to strive for attainable daily goals. ? Forklift operator certification is preferred. ? Must have valid Driver's License ? Ability to think independently and make independent decisions. Working Conditions: ? The warehouse is a controlled environment, but temperatures can vary depending upon seasons. ? Some lifting over 50 pounds or awkward handling parts ? Fast pace ? Daily use of computers and related software ? 85% of the day is on their feet standing or walking to process orders. Physical Requirements: ? Ability to stand for long periods of time. ? Ability to lift 50 lbs
