NexGen-US LBM LLC dba Precision Wall Systems, Inc. headquartered at 102 Vander Horck St., Britton, SD 57430, phone number: (800) 658-5594 is looking to fill eight (8) Production Worker Helper positions from 04/01/2025 to 12/31/2025. This is for full time, peak-load temporary employment. Duties include: Help production workers by performing duties requiring less skill. Workers will be supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment. Workers will assist with general production work and assembling trusses. Workers will load lumber onto truss table at joints and fasten them with various tools including hammers, nails, drills, screws, and application of glue. Worker may operate a roller to secure truss plates. Worker will load and unload items onto equipment for processing and package finished products for shipping. Worker will ensure products are in conformance to companys specifications. The production worker will accurately record products data and pull damaged or ineffective equipment off the processing line. Special Requirements: Three (3) months of production or related experience required. Must be able to lift seventy-five (75) lbs. frequently throughout the workday. Must be able to pass employer-paid pre-employment, post-accident, and/or other random drug testing. Flexible shifts may be required.
$22.50 per hour with overtime available at $33.75 per hour, based on hourly rate. 40 hours per week with the following varying shifts: 6:30AM - 3:30PM, Monday to Friday; and 7:30PM - 6:00AM, Monday to Thursday. Returning workers and workers with experience may be paid higher wage rates. Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 102 Vander Horck St., Britton, SD 57430 and will service clients within the Southeast Iowa nonmetropolitan area. Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites.
Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is Weekly. The employer provides housing, utilities, and transportation to the workers at a weekly payroll deduction of $62.50. The employer will make all deductions required by law. Workers may be held financially liable for any willful or negligent damage to company equipment, property, or provided housing. The offered housing is optional to workers. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guara tees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced, but this is subject to change.
