We are seeking a skilled Mechatronic Test Engineer to join our Development Department. In this role you will play a key role in testing new products, components and managing the laboratory environment. Your contributions will directly impact the enhancement of existing Resideo water products as well as heating and cooling systems.

JOB DUTIES:

• Defining, planning, performing and documenting tests according to Industry-standards and Internal procedures for Water products.

• Managing test sequences, owning the test plan and test sequences with intention to reach the qualification in terms of costs / time / quality.

• Escalating results in case of need to Test Lab Manager, attending project meetings and committing for results according to resource availability.

• Testing new products, components of sub-assemblies for use in new and legacy homes products.

• Supervising job of direct reports (students or contractors), with limited scope

• Ownership of laboratory / area, risk assessment

• Augmenting existing Resideo products

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Written and verbal English language skill

• Valid professional qualification in electrical engineering in accordance with Act No. 250/2021 Coll. and Decree No. 194/2022 Coll – (formerly "Decree 50“)

• Experience in test procedure definition, execution and documentation for standalone products, sub-assemblies and components

• Capacity to work under pressure for limited time for achieving the required outcomes in terms of testing

• Experience in using statistical and six sigma (DFFS and FMEA) methods.

WE VALUE:

• Knowledge of LabView, PLC or other programming

• Experience in EN water standards as well as Hydronic compliance testing

• Basic supervisor and project skills
