RESPONSIBILITIES
Install conduit – EMT, rigid, PVC, etc.
Pull wire – feeders, branch and service
Install switch gear
Install panel boards
Site lighting – underground and pole lights
Specialty items – generators, ATS, UPS and flywheel
Layout, read drawings, organize materials.
Install lighting fixtures and other related devices
Work with the superintendent as required.
Offload trucks and sort materials.
Lead apprentice as required.
Use tools such as hand benders, hydraulic benders, wire feeders, tuggers, etc.
Perform routine maintenance of electrical systems in commercial buildings.
Install electrical systems in new construction and renovation properties.
Adhere to current rules and regulations related to electrical so that systems pass inspection the first time.
Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to OCE and client safety standards and practices as well as legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess a minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an electrical journeyman.
Available and willing to travel to Tulsa and surrounding areas.
Able to read prints and engineering specifications.
Must possess knowledge of basic equipment functions as well as advanced electrical techniques, procedures and codes
Must possess knowledge of basic mathematics related to electrical.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred.
Must have or be able to obtain a electrical license in the state of Oklahoma.
