Clean Work Solutions Cleaning Technician in BRONX, New York
PRIMARY FUNCTION/PURPOSE:
Maintain a clean and healthy environment for clients, by performing a variety of commercial cleaning and maintenance tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, dependable, and must be able to multi-task. Perform all duties related to cleaning and decontamination of floors such as sweeping and mopping. Striping, waxing and buffing experience is a plus. Supervises and coordinates the work activities of assigned areas includes exterior common areas, classrooms, service hallways. Team member must be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment. Assigned tasks list to include, but not limited to remove trash from offices and other work areas. Must be able to use hand tools and cleaning machinery on a daily basis such as floor sweepers and brooms. Performs a variety of cleaning maintenance duties as assigned including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, and window cleaning if necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Available to work during evening hours. High school diploma or equivalent required. 1 year of experience providing cleaning, maintenance, custodial services in a commercial or hospitality environment. Familiarity with equipment and processes associated with custodial work. Other Requirements (including Physical Demands): Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
PAY RATE: $17-$20/hr.
