Calvary Hospital Nutritional Supervisor (Per Diem) in Bronx, New York

Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
SERV Safe/Food Handlers certification preferred.
Knowledge of work to be performed and the ability to communicate and work cooperatively with all members of the health care team.
Ability to exercise judgement and use initiative in dealing with problems.
Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation a plus.
3-5 years’ experience working in a hospital dietary department a plus.
Must be extremely flexible in hors and days scheduled and willing to assist where needed.
Must be able to motivate and direct others.
Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by the specific job duties and functions.
Education:
Associate degree Required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
Responsibilities:
The Nutritional Supervisor coordinates, monitors and supervise all aspects of the department’s safety, security, and sanitation procedures on assigned shift.
