Safety Facility Services Cleaning School Supervisor (Afternoons) in Brooklyn, New York
As a Cleaning Supervisor you will be responsible for:The supervision of all cleaning staff focusing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behavior whilst on dutyEnsuring that a first class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the buildingReviewing work schedulesOrdering of cleaning materialsMonitoring of all cleaning activitiesEnsuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and proceduresThe Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate for this role will have:Previous experience in a cleaning environmentPrevious experience of managing a teamThe ability to implement and adhere to standards and proceduresHealth and Safety experienceGood interpersonal skillsUse of general cleaning equipment.Requirements:Approximately 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, housekeeping or custodial servicesFloor tech/care experience (stripping, waxing and buffing)MUST Speak English, Spanish is a plusAbility to effectively communicate with the client and follow through with requests1-2 YEAR MINIMUM OF LEAD and/or SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCEJob Type:Full-time (30 hours)Schedule:Monday - Friday4:30PM - 10:30PM
Minimum Salary: 20.00 Maximum Salary: 22.00 Salary Unit: Hourly
