Rising Ground Director of Data and Quality Management in Brooklyn, New York

Through the analysis of data and the creation and implementation of strategic quality management processes, the Director of Data and Quality Management for POH will ensure programs are meeting compliance standards. They will ensure performance quality is maintained and that specified goals and outcomes are met. The person in this position will work closely with all program leadership, directly supervises the Quality Management Analysts assigned to these programs as well as the PSA Compliance Coordinator. Responsible for the design and implementation of data collection tools and other processes to monitor the performance of the program and provide feedback in a timely manner. They will assist and report to the Senior Vice-President of Performance, Evaluation and Monitoring in all data and QM related activities.

Responsibilities

Quality Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of the Quality Management and Data Analysis functions for POH programs

  • Directly supervise all the Quality Management Analyst and PSA compliance coordinator

  • Conducts performance evaluations, bi-weekly supervisions, coaching, scheduling, and training

  • Oversee internal auditing system.

  • Serve as the organization liaison for oversight agency audits and reviews

  • Oversee the development and implementation of instruments used to measure programmatic goals and outcomes

  • Develop and implement data collection practices for the program

  • Utilize program data to identify program-specific strengths and challenges

  • Compile and analyze qualitative and quantitative performance data to enhance program practice

  • Serve as program liaison with ORR, OCFS, DOH, DOE and other oversight agencies

  • Participate in organization committees or initiatives

  • Ensure timely submission of Corrective Action Plans, to external monitoring agencies

  • Develop program specific performance reports for all agency stakeholders

  • Assist and guide programs with creating protocols and procedures

  • Collaboration with external monitoring and accreditation agencies

  • Perform others related task as needed

salary: $80,000

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ year's experience in Social Service-related field

  • Must have excellent leadership, organizational & interpersonal skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to travel locally

  • Must have ability to interpret data

  • Must have working knowledge of computer applications, preferably highly skilled with Excel.

  • Must have commitment to enhancing the level of service delivery provided to persons served

  • Experience working with ACS, OCFS, ORR or /and OPWDD programs required, ORR preferred.
