We're seeking an experienced Press Brake Machine Operator with proficiency in AP100 programming to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines, utilizing AP100 software to ensure precision and efficiency in metal fabrication processes.
salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 3:30 PM - 12 AM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and maintain press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to specifications.
Program and modify machine operations using AP100 software, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machine setup and adjustments.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to verify they meet specified tolerances and standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine and programming issues as they arise.
Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and improve efficiency.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
The essential functions of this role include:
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
Skills
Metal Folding (1 year of experience is preferred)
Machine Operation (1 year of experience is required)
Metal bending
Press brake operation (1 year of experience is required)
AP100
