OurCoreValues Perseverance / Integrity / Family / Stability / Competency The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for the entire successful execution of a project. Their primary responsibilities are to plan, direct, coordinate, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines, and within a budget. The Assistant Project Manager shall also participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, estimating, scheduling, and implementation. RolesandResponsibilities Assist Project Manager(s) with the following duties: Define project scope and goals with sales team and upper management Accurately estimate the resources needed to achieve project goals Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction means & methods Effectively communicate project expectations to team members Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, laborers, and clients Plan & schedule project timelines and milestones Ensure all legal codes/requirements/permits are met, obtained, and closed out Develop best practices and tools for project management and execution Determine labor requirements Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel Identify and resolve issues/conflicts within the project team Develop and implement quality control programs Complete required closeout documents Conduct project postmortems; create recommendations reports identifying successful and unsuccessful aspects of the project Facilitate setting up meetings Ensure field employees adhere to health and safety standards and policies Create budgets, order materials and equipment Effective communication and coordination with subcontractors Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Minimum Requirements Bachelor s degree or degree in progress in related field Excellent organization, and verbal and written communication skills Ability to be a collaborative team player Customer service orientated Ability to strategically plan and see the big picture Proficient computer skills Competency in conflict and crisis management Self-motivated with strong time and project management skills Ability to work within an environment with deadlines while having to multitask with many priorities Valid driver s license; ability to regularly travel around the metro area ?What's in it for You Health Insurance with company-match HSA Company-paid Dental, Life, and Short-term Disability insurance 401k/Profit sharing Vacation, Holiday, and Sick pay Being a valued & appreciated team member of a premier family-owned company
