Aerotek CNC Swiss Machinist in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota

Job Title: Lead Swiss Machinist

Job Description

Candidates are responsible for assisting in setting up and operating long production work. They will be running the day shift/night shift planning, preparing, and hitting quota of work that is needed. Additionally, they will be teaching and coaching machining techniques, work instructions, and quality practices.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines (L12, L20, A20)

  • Verify all products meet quality specifications by using micrometers, calipers, and other hand inspection tools

  • Assist other machinists when needed

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of CNC Swiss Machining lead experience

  • Ability to set up and operate 9 axis Swiss Machines

  • Extensive quality experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1+ years of CNC Swiss Management experience

  • CMM Programming and CNC Swiss (Esprit) experience
