Description
We are looking for a knowledgeable Workday ERP Subject Matter Expert to support our client. This role will serve as a liaison between various teams, particularly finance and purchasing, and the System Implementation partner to ensure seamless operation and effective use of the Workday system. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills to assist employees desk-side, adept at translating daily work protocols, terminology, and naming conventions. Training and aftercare following system implementation will be provided by System Implementation partner. Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot system issues are a must.
Serve as the primary point of contact for daily Workday ERP system users, particularly in finance and purchasing departments.
Support employees in utilizing Workday effectively, through both individual desk-side assistance and group training sessions.
Translate existing daily work processes, terminology/naming conventions to the new system to ensure continuity and usability.
Work closely with the System Implementation partner to provide proper guidance. This might involve developing user manuals, FAQs, and training materials.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the Workday system, collaborating with System Implementer when necessary.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency increases within the Workday ERP system.
Keep abreast of new features and functionalities in Workday and educate users accordingly.
Requirements
Proven experience with Workday ERP system and its various modules is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective user support and training.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Detail-oriented with the ability to translate traditional work processes into Workday terminology.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
