Omni Interlocken Hotelis seeking anAssistant Director of Engineeringto join our outstanding Repair & Maintenance team! This vital role will provide technical, mechanical and administrative assistance to the Director of Engineering and to assist in the operational aspect of the Engineering Department.
We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals who love contributing to a winning team. If you have engineering management experience in a hotel environment, we would love to speak with you about this role.
Salary range for this position (based on experience):$84,000 - $85,000/year. Full Time Associates at Omni Interlocken are entitled to elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, Paid Maternity Leave, 401k and Paid Time Off Accrual. Omni Interlocken reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.

Responsibilities
Assist the Director of Engineering Services in the full upkeep of the preventative maintenance, including the keeping of logs on work done, scheduling and the assignment of projects and other related tasks.
Assist the Director of Engineering Services in the procurement of supplies and the issuance of purchase orders.
Review work orders and assign work by priorities.
Maintain up-to-date inventories of heat, light & power and repair and maintenance supplies.
Respond to guest requests.
Work with the Engineering staff on a shift basis and coordinates their activities.
Assume the full responsibility for the Engineering Department in the absence of the Director of Engineering Services.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni's job scenarios.
Must be familiar with Omni's Systems and Services procedures.
Qualifications
Must have extensive HVAC and mechanical experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
3-5 years of hotel engineering experience preferred.
Previous experience at a hotel preferred.
Experience managing a crew of 5 or more.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including covering overnight, weekends and holidays. Schedule will vary according to business and operational needs.
Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
Must possess painting, plumbing, electrical, minor carpentry, lighting and computer skills.
Move, bed, lift, carry, push, pull, and place object weighing 50-100 pounds without assistance.
