Job Title: Construction Materials Technician (CMT)
Job Description
Are you a skilled Construction Materials Technician (CMT) with a passion for the geotechnical field? We're on the lookout for candidates with 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in soil sampling, concrete testing, slump testing, compaction testing, and density testing. If you have less than a year of experience but hold an ACI certification, we still want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Soil Sampling & Analysis : Collect and analyze soil samples to ensure project integrity.
Concrete Testing : Perform slump and compaction tests to maintain quality standards.
Density Testing : Use appropriate gauges to conduct accurate density tests.
Project Involvement : Engage in various commercial building projects, including high-rise and tilt-up constructions in the Denver Metro area.
Essential Skills
Experience : 1 to 3 years in construction materials testing.
Technical Proficiency : Skilled in soil sampling, concrete testing, and density testing.
Certification : ACI certification required for those with less than 1 year of experience.
Licensing : Must have a valid driver's license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Nuclear Density Gauge : Experience with this equipment is a plus.
Asphalt Testing : Familiarity with asphalt testing is advantageous.

Work Environment
- Outdoor Work : Be prepared to work outdoors with varying hours from 8 to 12 hours per day, totaling 45-50 hours per week, depending on weather conditions. Note: Work is not conducted during rain.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00
