Description

In a collaboration with Robert Half, the company is looking for a self-starting individual to join their team long-term. The candidate's duties will include handling a variety of personnel related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. Based in the Brownsburg, Indiana area, this contract / temporary to hire HR Assistant position is a terrific opportunity for someone looking for long-term employment. This role is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Your responsibilities in this role
Maintain employee database records
Research the internet to uncover potential customers
Manage a number of administrative duties
Requirements
Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
Desire to thrive in scenarios of team-based work or independent tasks, always looking to learn more and take initiative on a number of different projects and tasks
Competent in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
Quality experience with customer service
Practical knowledge of Onboarding
Well-founded grasp of Onboarding
Comprehensive knowledge of Taleo
Wide ranging experience with Administrative Assistance
Proven knowledge of compliance
Strong Data Entry and Excel skills
Strong familiarity with Background Checks
General familiarity with contracts
Past experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
At least 1+ years of HR related experience desired
