Stress Relief Helper

Job Description:

  1. Less than 4 + years of experience in industrial construction as a stress relief technician.

  2. Know the basic stress equipment and recorders.

  3. Is capable of troubleshooting and fixing problems that arise from stress equipment to work piece.

  4. Possess basic rigging skills.

  5. Knows how to wrap for preheat and pwht to make specific temperatures.

  6. Proficient in the use of small power tools (i.e. die grinder, right angle grinder).

  7. Able to be taught how to read and comprehend piping isometric drawings.

  8. Capable of efficiently following instructions from technicians. Able to learn and absorb information and training received from Technician Journeyman also.

  9. May assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.

  10. Cleans and performs minor maintenance activities on tools and equipment.

  11. Must be able to safely traverse uneven terrain with tools and building materials.

  12. Must be able to climb vertical ladders and work from heights as necessary.

  13. Must be punctual and maintain a dependable level of attendance in accordance to project work rules.
