Job Summary:

The Continuous Improvement team is seeking a dynamic, current college student to fulfill our summer internship program in 2025. Interns in our area have completed past projects such as leading teams focused on scrap reduction in a manufacturing environment, mass balance work focused on milk solids and water studies, along with Lean trainings including 5S and value stream mapping. Interns in this role can expect to further their learning in areas of lean concepts, process improvement, and problem solving in addition to collaboration, customer focus, independent and team-centered work, project, and time management and more.

What you need to be considered for the role:

  • Student in Junior or Senior status working towards a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Process Engineering, or other related field required.

Preferred:

  • The ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, use sound judgment, and draw valid conclusions to make effective decisions and achieve successful problem resolution.

  • Involvement in campus organizations, non-class related volunteer work, off-campus employment and demonstrated leadership abilities preferred.

  • The ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of Associates.
