With the Job, you will have the opportunity to support Western Europe on key topics like Digital Sovereignty, AI and Responsible AI, NSOC initiatives, strategic partnerships and Privacy.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive the regional technology strategy, aligning with Microsoft's global vision and local market needs. Lead initiatives that promote digital transformation and innovation across public and private sectors.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and academic institutions. Advocate for Microsoft's technology solutions and their impact on societal and economic development.

  • Policy Influence: Collaborate with regulatory bodies and policymakers to shape technology policies that foster innovation and growth. Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and their implications for society.

  • Technology Evangelism: Promote the adoption of Microsoft technologies through public speaking, media engagements, and participation in industry events. Showcase success stories and best practices to inspire and educate stakeholders.

  • Project Oversight: Oversee the execution of key projects and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and with high impact. Monitor progress and provide strategic guidance to project teams.

  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Provide insights and recommendations to inform business strategy and drive growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven track record in a senior technology leadership role, preferably within a multinational organization. Experience in public sector engagement and policy influence is highly desirable.

  • Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Skills: Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and influence policy decisions.

  • Attributes: Passionate about technology and its potential to drive positive change. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
