About us: Join Our Growing Team! Ingersoll Rand's Precision & Science Technologies division seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the ARO North America team within the Industrial Flow business unit. Job Summary: The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) role within its ARO Business Unit will be responsible for sales growth and business development activities for ARO branded pump product in both the US and Canada. The Regional Sales Manager will utilize their technical expertise, in how ARO pumps are applied in the industrial and process served market; and will coach, mentor, and guide a high-performance sales team in methods to cultivate, foster, and grow the strategic territory and distributor and OEM business relationships, revenue, and market share for the portfolio. The product portfolio consists primarily of Air and Electric Diaphragm Pumps and Industrial Piston Pumps. The Regional Sales Manager must reside in one of the following sales territories described below: The Midwest territory of US includes Michigan, Wisconsin, Northern IL, Northern IN, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and the Dakotas. The Southeast territory of US include: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia. The Northeast territory of US include: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Vermont. Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market presence and achieve sales targets in the Americas region. Develop business plans to expand coverage in underserved areas and geographies. Analyze market, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to uncover new business opportunities and growth areas. Monitor sales performance and KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement. Recruit and expand distribution/channel partners for market reach and penetration in the Americas. Identify and pursue opportunities for converting OEM competitors. Oversee the Distribution/Channel Partner network, serving as point of contact for distributors and guiding the sales team. Collaborate with the Distributor Advisory Council (DAC) to enhance collaboration and market share growth. Address gaps in market/industry coverage and adapt channels accordingly. Resolve conflicts within the channel and region. Provide guidance and training to improve the team's skills and capabilities. Mentor and coach the sales team in customer relationship building and distribution personnel training. Establish performance benchmarks for individual product lines to gauge distributor effectiveness. Maintain ongoing distribution engagement and manage an active opportunity pipeline. Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management on pricing, product specifications, and new product potential. Offer hands-on feedback to the sales team, sharing insights on trends, competition, and strategic opportunities. Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements: This is a remote position with travel up to 50% Must reside in a territory defined above (Midwest, Northeast or Southeast).
