Catholic Health Initiatives Mechanic in Bryan, Texas
Overview
Provide preventative ambulance maintenance along with repair of breakage as mechanical shop equipment allows. Primary services are focused on maintaining EMS fleet with additional responsibility in providing vehicle maintenance to other vehicles within the SJRHC fleet. Monitor and coordinates inventory and status of vehicles to appropriate departments.

Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with state and federal laws for EMS fleet operations and maintain preventive maintenance.
Report to EMS management on fleet maintenance, repairs, and scheduled vehicle returns daily.
Respond to unscheduled maintenance and prioritize solutions while managing mechanical inventory.
Inspect fleet for damage, report issues, and maintain fleet maintenance records for monthly reporting to the EMS Director.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Three (3) years experience in vehicle maintenance
Required Licensure and Certifications
- Valid Texas Drivers License
Pay Range
$18.74 - $25.77 /hour
