Oracle Senior Support Engineer, Demo Services in BUCHAREST, Romania

As a member of the Demo Support organization, your focus is to deliver pre-sales support and solutions to the Oracle Sales teams while serving as an advocate for their demo needs. This involves resolving pre-sales demo issues while working closely with global sales consultant teams. A primary point of contact for presales demo issues, you are responsible for Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle Sales team on diverse demo situations and escalated issues.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Support Engineer, you will offer strategic Functional and technical support to assure the highest level of pre-sales support.

  • Work with Global Sales teams to ensure that all demos are trouble free providing the best possible user experience.

  • Specialize in the ERP functional area as part of Demo Services Support team.

  • Provide first line support for Oracle Sales Teams globally to resolve functional, connectivity and performance issues.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Service Requests, create knowledge articles and solutions.

  • Work with different stakeholders to understand, improve and document processes.

  • Participate in and identify key issues during demo release testing, providing feedback and recommendations to content engineering to help improve the quality of the demo content.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • University degree in either Engineering, Maths, Accounting/Finance, Economics, Computer Science or comparable

  • Previous ERP experience in modules like General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable.

  • Previous experience in Cash Management, Assets, Procurement modules will be an added advantage.

  • Previous experience resolving functional and/or environment issues in an implementation, Pre-Sales or Support role.

  • English Advanced proficiency and fluency (including writing) are mandatory

  • Analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
