Citigroup Junior Payment Specialist in Budapest, Hungary

This is an entry level role responsible for processing basic to relatively complex transfers in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to perform moderately operation tasks, by providing processing assistance for assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
Payments data input into banking systems with the highest accuracy
Cooperation with other Citi teams from all over the world
Data correction in banking systems
Individual involvement in international projects
Comprehensive process and product knowledge
Ensure timeliness (according to cut-off time) and accuracy of processing payments & tasks to be delivered
Issues and escalations identification, reporting and handling till the resolutions
Possible shift-work (early- 7AM/ mid - 10AM /late – 2:30 PM shifts) including public holidays, occasionally weekends for testing purposes
Ideal background:
Strong English and Hungarian knowledge
Confident user of MS Excel and MS Outlook
Ability to work in a team and dealing with international partners
Strong numerical skills and analytical mindset
Precision, keen attention to details
Quick learner
Independence in solving problems
Ability to work under time pressure and adhere to strict daily deadlines
