Position Description
Position is responsible for reviewing, assessing, and fulfilling On-Line customer orders. Prepare product for shipment, verify ship method, securely package the product per customer order and company procedures. Stocking and reconciling of product and shipping material inventory to control documents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Receiving Clerk
- Use appropriate equipment to move inventory.
- Stores and shelves delivery items as necessary
- Reviews daily urgent ship and backorder spreadsheets and takes appropriate action.
- Pulls customer product order and prepares for shipment.
- Weighs and audits items as required for shipment.
- Prepares outbound shipment documentation ( e.g. labels)
- Ensure the shipping/receiving area is clean and organized.
- Prepares outbound shipment paperwork, including labels.
- Participate in product inventory tracking.
