We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. Our Accounting Clerk plays a key role in assigning, entering, tracking and the reconciliation of jobs. We are looking for someone who will pay close attention to detail and who will work well with an array of different personalities. A successful accounting assistant should be familiar with all general accounting procedures and have a flair for numbers. Ultimately, a successful Accounting Clerk will help ensure that the companys daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively. Responsibilities * Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department * Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records * Upload/post production hours * Code/enter credit card transactions * Post and clear account accruals * Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and reconciliations relating to balance sheet accounts * Complete daily key data work * Provide assistance and support to company personnel as needed * Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws * Maintain confidentiality where needed * Ability to communicate with clients in a professional manner

Skills * 3-7 years of proven accounting experience * Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures * Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software * Accuracy and attention to detail * Strong communication skills * Aptitude for numbers * Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks * Data entry and word processing skills * Well organized * Ability to Multi-Task * Minimum Associates degree or relevant certification
